…What the fuck?!īut Jumin served as the perfect foil for Jaehee, whose character really shined in this route. And when Jumin does decide to get revenge on 707, he does so by stealing and then crashing the poor guy’s car. Jumin is pissed, not so much because Jaehee used external resources, but because Elizabeth the 3rd wasn’t presented as the logo/face of the cat hotel. In one of the most surreal moments, Jaehee phones in a cat hotel presentation (by using slides that 707 sent her). Jumin came across as an out-of-touch asshole here, which was strangely satisfying to read after going through his batshit crazy route. Meanwhile, MC actively wing womans encourages a friendship between Jaehee and Zen, and there are some hacker shenanigans that are repeatedly referenced, but never seem to become truly central to the storyline. To be fair, as far as friendship routes might go, it was cute. Long story short, in the main storyline MC helps Jaehee realize that she’s not happy existing as overworked assistant to a demanding and unreasonable Jumin Han.
When I originally started on Jaehee’s route in MysMe, I totally thought it was going to be a cute romantic route featuring two fabulous women bucking the trend in a heteronormative society like Korea! So imagine my extreme disappointment when this ended up being A FRIENDSHIP ROUTE. Feeling excited at seeing a girl, how strange.
